In the distant future, a branch of humanity lives in the huge space city Animarum powered by a powerful energy from the souls of the dead called Vitalis. It is led by four ancestral founders, but one day, one of them goes mad and tries to take over the city by massively harvesting the souls of its population with the help of mutant abominations. You play as “Le Passeur” a powerful warrior whose role is to restore order and save the city.
